Boston’s Evening of
Light for Rohingya Refugees
The mass exodus of the Rohingya from Rakhine State to Bangladesh began on August 25, 2017, when the Myanmar military initiated a targeted and systematic genocide campaign that included murdering, burning, torturing and raping (including children) the Rohingya.
Boston-based Humanity Rises is a refugee humanitarian aid organization that runs a medical clinic and child life center in the Balukhali Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh. Our fundamental belief is that during the world's darkest moments, light always shines through when humanity rises to help those affected by tragedy, and in helping to lift others, we lift ourselves. Become a ray of light for the Rohingya, humanity and yourself by joining us at this event.
